Q. What Qualifications do I need to be a freelancer?
A. Basically all you need is the professional skill that other people or company will want. You will also need time in order to fulfill the project.

Q. Can I keep my regular job and be a freelancer?
A. Yes you can. In fact, most freelancers maintain their current day jobs and use freelancing as means to earn extra income. We have to warn you though that for certain jobs, you will need to occasionally take leave from work in order to meet the clients during the day. You should also ensure that you have sufficient time to complete the job and ensure it's quality.

Q. What happens when I take a job and cannot complete it?
A. You are liable to complete the project that you have undertaken and if you are unable to complete the project, you are liable to be found to be breech of contract, the penalties of which depend on the contract. At least, your professional reputation is at stake.

Q. Can I take on more than one job simultaneously?
A. We do not recommend it unless you are doing freelancing as a full time career.

A. It depends on the number of jobs available and your professional skills. On your part you can ensure that you stand a higher chance of securing a job by providing competitive quotations.

A. Not necessarily.

A. Yes, you can.

Q. How much will I get paid?
A. You get paid based on the quotation given by you when you signed the contract. It is a simple flat fee.

Q. How do I receive payment?
A. A freelancer can receive payment by cheque or through online payment services like Paypal. You can select your preference when you receive your contract.
