Requirements:
Acute Care transcriptionists must have 3 years of transcription experience.
Acute Care experience must be recent and include expertise transcribing operative reports, H&P's, discharge summaries and consults.
Quality Assurance Editors must have 5 years of editing experience.
Pathology transcriptionists must have 5 years of recent experience. All applicants must have knowledge of AAMT BOS.

Job Description: ON-SITE CLIENT SUPPORT SPECIALIST Heartland Information Services, a leading, national medical transcription company, has an opening for an on-site, Client Support Specialist for a large, acute care hospital in Jacksonville, FL. This position will report remotely to the Manager of Quality Assurance and Client Relations at our Toledo, OH headquarters. The primary focus of this role is to manage the critical completion steps for exception reports (errors, blanks, incorrect data matches) so that report quality and turnaround standards can be met. Additionally, this position acts as a liaison to physicians and client associates for first-level customer service issues as needed. The successful candidate will have in-depth experience transcribing and editing the "basic four" acute care medical reports with a proven, consistent minimum quality score of 99%; basic skills with Microsoft Word and Excel, email and the internet; and excellent written and oral
communication skills. Besides these critical skills, we're seeking someone who will be a meticulous and committed onsite resource for our client so that their customer experience is positive and effective. A passing score on our medical transcription skills test is required. Previous experience supporting physicians directly in their daily practice is desired.
