Job Description: Transcend Services is growing and we are looking for some great mentors and managers to add to our team. We typically promote from within for these types of opportunities, but we have had so much growth recently that we can't keep up with it all! So we have an immediate opening for a SUN-TH 1ST SHIFT TEAM LEADER on the BeyondTXT platform. Team Leaders are our first level managers at Transcend and typically support a group of 20-35 MTs.
We are looking for experienced transcriptionists that have managed other before but still enjoy transcribing because our Team Leaders also work in a production capacity. TL candidates transcribe 75-80% of their time and are responsible for keeping their account(s) in TAT by managing the schedules of their assigned MTs and mentoring their MTs. TL candidates will be paid for their production (9cpl for transcription and 5cpl for voice recognition editing) and will receive a monthly stipend of $700 for performing the administrative duties.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of current medical transcription experience, preferably working in a remote capacity as a manager, mentor, or QA Specialist.
* Former management experience is required for external candidates.
* Strong desire to teach and mentor other MTs. This is a management position but we look for managers that want to help others become stronger MTs and grow their careers!
* Cable or DSL Internet is required. Satellite does not work with some of our management software unfortunately.
* Must have strong op note experience.
* Must have good ESL experience.
* Must be legally authorized to work immediately in the US without sponsorship.
This position provides a great opportunity to move up at Transcend and show us your leadership and mentoring skills. Former TLs have been promoted to Assistant Manager, Trainer, and QA roles!
Hardware/Software: Candidates will work on our BeyondTXT platform. Must have MS Office 2003. All OS are compatible with BeyondTXT, including the new Windows 7!
